Quiet & Easy Maintenance

This humidifier is just what I was looking for to use in one room. It is quiet, does not take up too much space and is easy to use. The filter disintegrated after about 6 months, but filter replacement is to be expected. Definitely has helped with dryness.

Wish I could buy another!

I absolutely love mine that I bought last year. No visible mist, so I feel that the moisture is better dispersed in the room. I have never seen any sign of mildew or mold, and its so easy to clean! I wanted to buy one for my daughter, but they are out of stock! I sure hope they make some more soon!

Solid solution and well made

Worth every penny

The tank is easier to fill than other models. It's also larger than most. When you fill it every day this makes a difference. I have to replace the filter about every two months because of the hard water where I live. Most tanks and bases are not dishwasher safe. This is another plus versus other models. If I can find any fault it's a bit bulky vs the last one I owned. The upsides are worth the trade off. Breathe better and bye bye dry winter skin.

Doesnt shut off when its empty

The price is good, but the fact that it doesn't shut off when it's empty is a problem. I fear it will put extra wear and tear on the motor. I am not there every day and therefore, can't monitor it.

Better than my other one

I don't know how to clean the fan blades...area inside the fan, but I like how easy it is to take apart the bottom and to clean it. I haven't tried putting it in the dishwasher yet. I use distilled water so it's easier to clean. I'll see how long it lasts

I haven't used this new one yet -- we have it running constantly from late Sept thru May or until we have the doors and windows open. I can tell you that the other one we had basically the same as this one was wonderful. That's why we bought another. I highly recommend it for a bedroom.

Cool Humidity!

My dermatologist recommended I get a humidifier, and this was looks good, makes a soft white noise, and humidifies with cool air. The filter does not last as long as I would hope, but maybe thats my airs fault. I recommend buying filter with product.

Great product, very functional. Raises the humidity in my living room to 40% at medium setting, more than enough for my new grand piano. Very qyuet at lowest setting, still quiet at medium setting. Filling is a breeze. No experience yet with cleaning.

Quiet but huge!

I bought two of these humidifiers to run in my kids rooms during the winter. I love how quiet they are and how much water the tank holds. I especially love their effectiveness my son is prone to nosebleeds and the dry air makes it worse. He hasn't had one since we put this in his room. A few drawbacks: the unit is very large, taking up half the surface space on my kids dressers. They are also difficult to move without water spilling from the base. And they should be easy to clean-just a run through the dishwasher-but they are too large to fit on the top rack which is recommended of my dishwasher. My biggest concern is the filter. There is no instruction on how often to re-wet it or replace it. And the top of it turns brown quickly like its been scorched, and the bottom is ringed with pink mold. Could definitely use more instruction on how to care for the filter!

It does not pump out as much water as some humidifiers I have had, but maybe they were overhumidifying. In any case, it is simple, clean, and does not have any annoying attributes noises, lights, etc..

Like it so much Im getting another one

Have been using for a month - very easy to use, and also easy to adjust when we go to bed so it doesn't run out of water in the night. One thing is given the size, it's not easy to move between the living room where I need it during the day and my bedroom where I need it at night so I'm getting a second one! Reviews are spot on.

Fills the room, works well

I'm really pleased with this humidifier. We have a roughly 150sq ft room that were using it in and it takes care of us. It's a large unit, but it's powerful enough that I'm invited by having it further away from the bed than I'd planned because it's too big for my bedside table

wonderful, low-maintenance humidifier

Used this all winter, performs well, simple to maintain, and the sound is basically the same as a white noise machine, so good for kids. Paper filter definitely needs to be changed at the end of the season, of course.

Works well

I wasn't sure that a humidifier would be so effective. This one is really fairly silent and works well. The filter is a bit flimsy but there is a UV light and the water tank holds enough water to run all night. I will need more filters. It is rather large so you probably don't want to pack it for any travel but for home it is efficient. I've noticed my skin isn't as dry in the morning and I can sleep well.

Less winter colds

So far so good! Had this unit a couple weeks and it's been running non stop. Pros: tank is easy to fill and lasts longer than I expected, no white dust unlike our old ultrasonic unit, I don't worry about mold and mildew with the uv light, dishwasher safe - yay! Cons: it's quite loud on the highest setting, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars

Very good humidifier

It took a while to receive because it was out of stock at the time. Not an issue really. The estimates for delivery were very good. The product was packaged well, no damage, etc. Very easy to set up and operate. The product is fairly large, but not so much to be an eyesore. We placed it in the bedroom to add some moisture while we sleep. Has certainly made a difference in our morning sinuses. The winters here are fairly dry and it really helps the air quality. We do plan on getting a second one for the main living area. On the lowest setting it uses the entire water storage container in just under 24 hours so you need to check the water container often on higher settings.

Great investment

The air inside the house on all floors was incredibly dry in winter. Purchased the HCM-350 after quick research. Super easy to set up and get going. I was truly astounded at how quickly the water tank emptied at first. I kept it at full blast for first couple of days. The first floor felt totally different than the basement or the second floor. Then every night I took it to the bedroom and turned it to low setting. It is very quiet, although I had to get used to the occasional bubbling as the water level adjusted. The dry nose, sinuses and scratchy skin issues were solved pretty much in a day or two. Seeing the efficacy of a humidifier I purchased another model hot steam but same brand for my office cubicle. An electronic monitor has the humidity at 16% outside the cubicle, but inside it is at least 35%. I think these things are fantastic if you do not have the budget to get a humidifier installed in-line with your HVAC system. I highly recommend it. I have just recently purchased it so I have not gotten a chance to clean it but the process is quite simple. Also, it can be a little heavy to lug around if the tank is full. Go ahead and buy one if you are in doubt! It will make a difference.
