We have seen independent reviews as to the efficiency of air filters and Honeywell came out on top in every price range. Our old tower was broke in a move, so we are looking for the latest model of the same due to it hardly taking up any space in our small home. That is how pleased we are with the 13 year service of our old one!

I've used this air cleaner for several years. I like it. It works great, But, these filters gave out of stock for about a year. I've been on the list to be contacted. I called customer service and was told I could replace the N filter with a C filter, Is this correct?

The dimensions of both filters are nearly identical. There are two things though. The N Filters are True HEPA Filters that are capable of capturing 99.97% or particles as opposed to the C Filters that capture 95%. If you're using a tower filter, you'll also need two C Filters as opposed to the one N Filter.
